Vanessa Blanc Pociello is manager of the Translational Science and Development area of the R+D+I department at DENTAID. With a degree in Biology, and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology, she joined Dentaid in 2008. She has held different positions within the R+D+I department, as director of the microbiology area. Since its arrival at Dentaid, the R+D+I department has opened several lines of basic research in oral microbiology and pathogenic biofilms associated with periodontal diseases. In addition to providing scientific knowledge by directing and publishing antibiotic resistance studies in oral microbiota and the development of in vitro and in vivo evaluation methods of antiseptic oral hygiene products. She is a guest lecturer on the Master's Degree in Applied Microbiology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and author of multiple scientific articles published in indexed international journals in the field of periodontics and oral microbiology and speaker at national and international conferences.

Dr. Georgina Puigvert graduated in Dentistry by Universitat de Barcelona in 2016. She completed her Master Degree in Pediatric Dentistry by Universitat de Barcelona in 2021. Three years of work experience she has in The Netherlands as a Pediatric Dentist. She is also member of the baby-pediatric dentistry work team of hospital de Nens Barcelona Foundation.

Dr. Víctor Gil Manich received his DDS degree in 2010 from the Universitat Internacional of Catalonia (UIC). He completed his master’s degree in implantology and oral rehabilitation in 2012 at the Loma Linda University (USA). 

Dr. Gil is director and professor in the master in gerontology, special patients and with medical commitment at the UIC. Currently he collaborates as a professor at several specialized courses. He is also an instructor at the University Clinic of Dentistry in UIC and he works in his private practice in Barcelona. 

Dr. Andres Pascual La Rocca received his DDS degree in 1999 from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He completed his master’s degree in Periodontology in 2003 at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona, Spain and he earned his CumLaude PHD in the same university in 2012. 

Dr. Pascual is former Co-Director and full-time professor in the Master in Periodontics at the UIC and part of the departments research group. Currently he collaborates as a visiting professor at the master in periodontics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and the master in periodontics at the Universidad de Valencia. He works in his private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants in Barcelona.
